Gone are the days of braces for just children, preteens and teenagers. We regularly treat adults and most commonly we get enquiries for braces for working professionals.
The Daily Mail reported that braces are “TRENDY“ and they’re the latest “must-have accessory” but we believe that it’s not the brace the adults are wanting to sport – it’s the result. Braces are the most efficient way to achieve a guaranteed smile makeover – that lasts a lifetime. While still keeping hold of your own, sound tooth tissue. Adult orthodontics is a win-win!

Invisible Braces for Working Professionals
Hidden Lingual Braces
Lingual braces are fixed on the inside (lingual) surface of the teeth. They work in a very similar way to traditional braces but are the most discreet as they are concealed from view.
Additional specialist training is required for orthodontists to be able to work with lingual braces. We are lucky enough to have clinicians who work with this advanced technology.
The only drawback to Lingual braces if your job requires lots and lots of talking – you might want to have them fitted over a holiday as over the initial few days/ weeks your soft tissues will take some adjusting.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a marvellous option for professionals. They’re comfortable, removable and clear!
The clear aligner system enables you to clean your teeth and eat as normal! With the added benefit of being able to leave them out for an important client meeting.
The treatment isn’t suitable for everyone though – you have to be committed to wearing them for a minimum of 22hrs a day. (And if you’re forgetful, be honest – they only work if you’re actually wearing them)
ceramic fixed braces
We love fixed braces. We have total control over your tooth movement and they work continuously.
The ceramic brackets are just as effective as the traditional metal ones and they really are discreet. They’re the best option for many of our professional patients and they guarantee the finest result.
